Heavenly Father, I have Joy in your presence
The morning breeze wafts over me
The waterfall softly calms
The sounds of the summer birds so peaceful
Be still my mind, listen
The flowers gently rustle
A gecko steals across the stone
A bee buzzes in the bush
Be still my mind, listen
A butterfly alights upon a rose
The sunlight plays upon the shimmering water
The tree tops sway as if to whisper
Be still my mind, listen
The dragonflies dance across the sky
A cardinal’s song so playful
The music of creation awakening
Be still my mind, listen
Listen for the voice of God!
I was moved to write this poem from pure joy at the transcendant beauty of my garden.
God’s magnificence was evident in everything. I always feel His presence in nature. The variety and intricacy of His creation abounds.
It is peaceful. I was delighted!

Be still and know that I am God…-Psalm 46:20
You have made known to me the path of life:
you fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand – Psalm 16:11
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control… – Galatians 5:22-23
“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created “- Revelation 4:11
To God be all the glory- Julie
