Good Morning God

“Good morning God. This is your day. I am your child. Show me your way.”
These are the lyrics to a beautiful, sweet Christian song called Good Morning God!  I used to sing this song every day to wake up each of my sons, Alexander and Dylan. It was such a sweet and beautiful moment. God’s love filled my heart and we started our day with Him.

Climbing Joseph’s Coat Rose

I would sing this song to our boys as I opened the curtains to each of their bedrooms to wake them up. The LIGHT of GODS love would shine into their room as I would say;

Good morning flowers. Good morning trees. Good morning birds and Good morning bees”

I’d hug each precious child and often give him a “scratch back” (their word for backscratcher) to start the day with JOY!

Joyful for God, Life, Love, Faith, Family and our Hope in Christ!

I still sing this song today! Every morning I sing it to God as a prayer, either aloud and or in my mind! It connects me with God

It always puts a smile on my face and joy in my heart! I feel the comforting peace of God  without exception.

The lyrics are simple yet they are full of meaning.

For your reflection I have paired BIBLE VERSES with the lyrics. It is also a great teaching tool for you to start a tradition with your children to lovingly wake them up and start the day connecting with our loving, ABBA father.
