North Texas Giving Day is an annual one-day fundraising event for non-profits in the N. Texas area. Anyone or any organization can donate online to the participating charity of their choice. Our school participates!
It is a wonderful opportunity to let your generosity shine.
Your donations are MATCHED on a pro-rated basis by The Communities Foundation of Texas.
Did you know that God says more about money including giving and generosity than any other topic in the Bible. There are more verses in the Bible on the topic of money than any other. I have listed extra verses at the end of this post.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver -2 Corinthians 9:7
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? – 1 John 3:17
Anyone from anywhere can donate on the designated day, which changes each year.
All you need is a credit card and access to the internet. It is powered by DonorBridge. Minimum donation is $25. (updated 2016)
You can also donate ahead of time to the Bonus Fund.
Or donate at local Donation Station across the community. At NorthPark Center a KidsGive event will provide kids a chance to donate their loose change. There will also be kid friendly activities
Here are the Donation Station events (2016 list)

Read these Wonderful Bible Verses about money, generosity and giving:
Both riches and honor come from You… 1 Chronicles 29:12But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously at this?
Everything comes from you, and we have given only what comes from your hand. – 1 Chronicles 29:14 (David is praising God in these passages)
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. -Psalm 112:5
Share with God’s people who are in need.. Romans 12:13
And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And He saw a poor widow putting in two small copper coins.
3 And He said, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all of them;
4 for they all out of their surplus put into the offering; but she out of her poverty put in all that she had to live on.” – Luke 21:1-4Then He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.” -Luke 12:15
