- Abba Father as I watch a cloudless sky begin to awaken, the bunnies hop, the birds’ chirp mixed with crickets’ song.
It is serene. It is lovely. It is good.
The sun innocently breaks the horizon, softly lighting the hilltop.
A summer breeze is cool, not hinting at the heat to come,
yet there are no birds in flight.
The morning innocent and calm.
I lift my eyes skyward. I seek your face and pray.
Abba Father of all mercy and tenderness, patient and kind. You have been good to me thy servant.
All the years of my life you have guided me, although I was often unaware.
You saved me from harms way so many times.
I see your hand in all things.
I don’t deserve your love yet you lavish it upon me. Forgive me and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus.
Use me as a vessel through which You bless others.
Light my path.
Teach me Your ways, for I am prone to selfishness.
Abba Father give me Your wisdom for surely my own is riddled with flaws.
Show me Your will, for I desire to do it
I want to serve you well, according to your plans for me.
I am yours, yet sadly I am prone to wander.
I allow myself to be enticed away.
Keep me on the straight and narrow path to you.
Open my heart fully to you.
Open the hearts & minds of those I love who are far from you,
so they may know You and accept Jesus as Lord.
Let me be about your business.
Here I am. Send me!

What does ABBA mean? It is an Aramaic word. Jesus used it 3 times in the New Testament of the Bible. Most notably in the garden of Gethsemane.
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” – Mark 14:36
´Abbā´ is an intimate word like “daddy”, a term of endearment used by Jesus, the only son of God to his Father.
The Jews of the time would not have addressed God in such an informal way for their relationship with Him was not the same as the Son of God.
Today through Jesus, all Christians can have a deep, personal relationship with God. As a child of God, I love to pray Abba, Father. It warms my heart and I feel such joy and peace.
If you do not know God and want to know him, love him and be his child

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.
