Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul and both died for your freedom.
On this Memorial Day let us give thanks in remembrance of all the brave men and women who died while serving in our Armed Forces.
And let us thank God for Jesus, who died for all mankind to free us from sin, judgment and eternal separation from God.
To learn more about Jesus read How to Receive Eternal Salvation.
If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, you will have Eternal Life!!
“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.“ John 6:40
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
The good news is the God loves us and wants a relationship with us. God in his mercy sent Jesus to live a life free of sin and die on the cross for our sins, so we may freely approach the throne of our Holy God.
Jesus is the way to God.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
“In him (Jesus) and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” -Ephesians 3:12
“For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin–” Romans 6:6
On this Memorial Day remember Christ and His love for you.
